Before You Begin

Ensure you have the Global Protect VPN installed, either through the software center or manually

You will probably want the one with the name like Windows 64-bit - GlobalProtect64-6.2.3.msi That has the largest number at the end of the name.

Steps

  • Click on the little white globe icon in the bottom right of your screen, down in the status bar. You may have to click on the white up arrow to get it to show.

  • It will give you a pop up to enter your TrueYou credentials. Please use your full email address here.
  • After that pop up is done, everything should be working fine. Verify that by clicking the (now colored) globe icon.

For More Information

There is a bug that pops up from time to time about a stale request when you do the TrueYou login.

This can be worked around by simply clicking on the submit button with your mouse instead of hitting enter when you are done typing your username and password.
