Body
Your TrueYou Username is a combination of your user account name and domain name joined by the @ symbol:
- User account name = unique 8-digit Nebraska University Identification (NUID) number
- Domain name = nebraska.edu
Each person affiliated with the University and Nebraska State College System (staff, faculty, students, alumni, applicants, volunteers) has a TrueYou user name. These usernames will now all have the format of NUID@nebraska.edu. Though it looks like an email address, it is not. You will use it to log into your campus desktop and all Microsoft services such as MS Office 365 online, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc. and your desktop Microsoft apps such as Outlook, Office apps and Teams. It can also be used to log into Canvas, MyRed, MyBlue, MavLINK, Firefly and any other system that is protected by TrueYou authentication.
How do I find my NUID?
Your Nebraska University Identification (NUID) should have been provided to you by your Human Resources representative. You can find this number listed on your campus ID card (examples below).
