Body
Objective
When your content is migrated as part of the Future Ready Cloud Collaboration Workspace project, links that you have previously shared with others will no longer be valid and you will need to send them new links if they need to continue to access that content. This report is helpful in showing who you have previously shared links to your OneDrive content with.
Note: The report does not contain the date that you shared the link so you may not need to re-share every document listed.
Users
This report is helpful for users that have shared documents from their OneDrive with others that need to retain access to them.
Steps
Follow the steps below to generate your OneDrive Sharing Report. Click on an image thumbnail to view it full-sized.
1. Navigate to https://portal.office.com.
2. This report should be generated before your account is migrated, login as you normally would with campus credentials. If you have migrated, contact ITS Support for assistance.
3. Once logged in, navigate to the bottom left of the screen and click on your name (not the three dots).

4. Next, click My Microsoft 365 profile.

5. Now you should be able to navigate to the app launcher (9-dots or Waffle) in the top left corner and open OneDrive.

6. In OneDrive, click the Settings gear icon in the upper right corner and click OneDrive settings from the pop out pane on the right side of the screen.

5. Click More Settings on the left side of the screen.

6. Click Run sharing report.

7. Next you will be prompted to choose a destination to save the report. Click + New and choose Folder.

8. Enter OneDrive Sharing Report as the folder name. (Optional) Choose a folder color. Click Create.

9. Click Save.

***Note: certain Microsoft Office themes may render the "Save" button invisible. If this occurs, try changing the theme to get it to appear!
10. Your report will begin generating. After the report has been generated and saved, you should receive an email stating the report is ready. You can click on the Open button in the email to open your report.

11. Or, you can go to your OneDrive and open it from the folder you created.

12. You should see an Excel file that contains your sharing information.
