Overview

Delinea Credential Manager (DCM) is a browser extension that allows a user to log into websites using stored credentials. The extension supports secure password storage, click-to-fill, password generation, and synchronization.

DCM replaces the previous browser extension, Delinea Web Password Filler (WPF). Any users still using WPF should migrate to DCM at their earliest convenience.

Logging In and Using DCM

After downloading the DCM browser extension, users will need to sign into their instance of Delinea Platform or Secret Server to connect and make use of the extension.

  1. In a web browser, an icon will appear in the upper right section. Click on the icon to open the extension's interface.

  2. In the Enter URL text box, type the following URL to connect to the university's instance of Delinea Platform: https://nebraska.delinea.app
  3. Click the Next button. A new tab or popup window will open at the Platform login screen. Proceed through the login process.  Instructions for logging in can be found at the Knowledge Base article Platform - Logging In.
  4. Once logged in, the window will disappear. The extension will activate using the user's Platform credentials and the icon will change color. Clicking on the extension icon again will display the user's available secrets that can be used by the extension.
