ITS provides access to Adobe tools that support creating, editing, and managing digital content for academic, administrative, and creative work. Available Adobe options include Adobe Express (for UNL students, and faculty and staff), Adobe Acrobat Pro (for faculty and staff), and Adobe Creative Cloud licenses (available by request for UNL students, and faculty and staff).
Benefits & Features
What do each of these tools do?
Adobe Express is designed for everyday creative needs. It offers an easy, web-based experience with templates, graphics, and Firefly AI tools that allow users to quickly create professional-quality content such as flyers, presentations, social media graphics, and short videos - often in just minutes, with no advanced design experience required.
Adobe Acrobat Pro is used for creating, editing, reviewing, and managing PDF documents. It allows users to combine files, edit text and images within PDFs, add comments and annotations, create fillable forms, and ensure documents meet accessibility and security standards. Acrobat Pro is especially useful for administrative workflows, document review, and sharing finalized materials.
Adobe Creative Cloud is a comprehensive suite of more than 20 desktop and mobile applications for advanced creative work. It includes industry-standard tools for photography, graphic design, video production, web and UX design, illustration, and more. With apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Fresco, Creative Cloud supports complex, professional-level projects.
