Account Lifecycle Manager (ALM) controls the creation, management, and removal of service, shared, and privileged accounts running in the organization through Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. ALM reduces account sprawl and increases security by enforcing governance and creating accountability using role-based permissions. Depending on a user's role, they can request, approve, provision, manage, and retire service accounts.
Benefits & Features
ALM provides a number of features to help manage service accounts for an environment:
- Workflow templates for easy and consistent account creation
- Integration with the Delinea Platform to manage and store service account credentials
- Discovery and import of unmanaged service accounts created outside of ALM
