ChatGPT Edu Additional Credits for Faculty/Staff

Overview

As adoption of ChatGPT Edu grows across campuses, some faculty and staff may need credits to access advanced models and features that support more complex work. Faculty and staff can request additional credits. Please note: Credit allotment is decided at a campus level; your additional credit requests are approved at a campus/department level. How to Request Credits

To request additional credits:

1. Review the following resources in the AI Resource Hub to make sure you understand how many credits you may need
   1. Understanding Feature and Model Differences for core and expanded access
   2. Utilizing ChatGPT Features Effectively
   3. Choosing the Right Model for the Job
   4. Choosing the Right Amount of Credits
2. Select the Additional Faculty/Staff Credit Request button on the right side of the screen
3. Fill out the form including the amount of monthly credits you are requesting, how long you need them for, and a cost center for payment (for campuses that are allotting credits at the department level).
4. Once your request is approved or denied, you will receive an email from NU Support letting you know.
