Q: The monitor or video projector is displaying a blue screen.  What can I do?

A:  Check the touch panel or keypad controls located on the desk and make sure the correct input is selected. 

Q: The classroom PC says it can't connect to the network.  What can I do?

A: The computer may have temporarily lost authentication to the network. Try restarting the PC by holding the power button to turn it off.  Wait a few seconds then push the power button again it to turn back on.

Q: Can the Bluray player also play DVD's?

A: Yes, Bluray players can play both types of media.

Q: How do I use Zoom in my classroom?

A: All General Purpose classrooms are equipped with a camera and instructor microphone.  Zoom can be launched from the classroom PC.  Make sure the camera and microphone are on and enabled in Zoom.  Check the drawer in the equipment rack for remotes, microphones, and batteries.

Q: Can I connect my laptop?

A: All General Purpose classrooms have laptop connection cables that will allow you to present your content in the room.  All rooms have an HDMI connection.  Some rooms may also have an analog VGA connection.  Many of our newest rooms also have wireless connectivity options for Airplay (Apple) and Miracast (Windows and Android) support.

Q: Do you provide video adapters for laptops?

A: Due to the sheer number of makes and models of laptops and varying system requirements, we do not supply video adapters.  You may procure these on your own or consider contacting your department or college to obtain one.
