Overview
The Delinea Web Password Filler (WPF) is a web browser extension to help users log on their sites. It allows browsers to find and enter credentials of users when a Secret Server instance has secrets related to that website. It offers a wide range of features that can help users to securely manage their passwords, including secure password storage, automatic password filling, secure password generation, and password synchronization.

Connecting and Logging In
After downloading the WPF browser extension, users will need to sign into their instance of Delinea Platform or Secret Server to connect and make use of the extension.
- In your browser's application toolbar or extension menu, look for the Web Password Filler icon.
- Enter the following URL to connect to the University's instance of Delinea Platform: https://nebraska.delinea.app. Click on the Next button to continue.
- A new tab or browser window will open to the Platform login screen, proceed through the login process as normal. Instructions for logging in can be found at the Knowledge Base article Platform - Logging In.
- After logging in, the window will display a message that the authentication is successful. After a few seconds, the tab or window will automatically close.
- The Web Password Filler icon will change to an icon with color. This will indicate that the extension is connected and logged in.
Users can also connect to the University's instance of Secret Server by entering the URL https://nebraska.secretservercloud.com. However, logging in with this method is not recommended as secrets that utilize Platform-specific features, such as per-secret Multifactor Authentication (MFA), will not be available to use.
