Overview/Background
The following screenshots of the authentication user experience for Platform Single Sign-On (PSSO) were captured on macOS 15.
Platform SSO on macOS 14 behaves similarly but the prompts may appear differently from the macOS 15 behavior shown here. For best experience, it’s suggested the device is running the latest version of macOS.
Post Migration Setup
- Upon installation of the required components, a system notification will appear at an undetermined interval prompting the user to log in.

- In macOS 15, upon clicking the system notification, users are shown a registration window with the option to continue.

- The user will then enter their TrueYou Username in an SSO window.

- After successful authentication in SSO, the user will enter their password once more which will bring their local account password in sync with their Microsoft account.

- User is logged into SSO and their passwords have been synched.
