Impact of Future Ready Cloud Collaboration Changes on Outlook - Email & Calendaring

Overview/Background

The Future Ready Cloud Collaboration project will have several impacts to emails and calendaring in Outlook.

Email

  • You will log into Outlook with YourNUID@nebraska.edu and your TrueYou password.
  • You will still use your same campus-branded email address to send and receive email. 
  • All of the following will be migrated:
    • Emails
    • Folders
    • Permissions
    • Rules
    • Signatures

Shared Email Mailboxes

Calendars

  • All of your calendar entries will be migrated.
  • Permissions to view and/or manage your calendar will be migrated.
  • Links to attachments from OneDrive or SharePoint within meeting invites will need to be re-created.
  • You will need to re-open the calendar for someone after they have migrated to be able to view it.
