Cant manage a password due to incomplete identity

Objective

How to fix an incomplete identity.

Anyone with SailPoint privileges.

Before You Begin

When you attempt to reset a password but there is no password to manage, verify the users identity is incomplete by there being no Structured Data and no Application Accounts.

Steps

To fix this:

  1. Go to the menu and select custom and refresh identity.

  2. Enter the incomplete identities NUID and select Submit.

  3. You should now see that there is an application account that you can reset a password for.

NOTE: This is a fix for the user account, but you still need to create a ticket for IAM as this is still an error they need to be aware of.
