Logging on to your Windows machine

Background/Overview

After you have migrated, you will need to use YourNUID@nebraska.edu ID and TrueYou password to log into your machine and any Microsoft apps on your machine or online.

Procedure for Logging onto your Windows machine

1. From the Windows login screen, enter YourNUID@nebraska.edu in the User ID field and your TrueYou password in the password field.

2. If your name and YourNUID@nebraska.edu is displayed, click on that entry. If not, click Use another account.

3. If prompted, enter YourNUID@nebraska.edu. Click Next.

4. Enter your TrueYou password. Click Sign in.

Logging into your Microsoft 365 Copilot (Office) app

1. Go to https://portal.microsoft.com. Enter YourNUID@nebraska.edu.

2. Click Next.

3. Enter your TrueYou password.

4. Click Sign in.
