Background/Overview
Users will need to use NUID@nebraska.edu and TrueYou password to log into a university managed Windows device and any Microsoft apps on the device and online.
Before you Begin - Important!
From the computer log-in screen, you should see “NEAD” or “nead.nebraska.edu.” If you do not see this, seek IT Support by emailing nusupport@nebraska.edu. If you see “NEAD” or “nead.nebraska.edu,” continue with the steps below.
Procedure for Logging onto your Windows machine

1. From the Windows login screen, enter your NUID@nebraska.edu in the User ID field and your TrueYou password in the password field.
Logging into your Microsoft 365 Copilot (Office) app

1. Go to https://portal.microsoft.com. Enter YourNUID@nebraska.edu.
2. Click Next.

3. Enter your TrueYou password.
4. Click Sign in.
