Troubleshooting Problems in the Windows App

Overview/Background

If you are having issues using the Windows App when accessing the EMS client, here are some things to check.

Ensure you have logged in using YourNUID@nebraska.edu and not your campus email address. 

1. After opening the Windows app, click your initials in the upper right corner

If you only see your campus email address, click Sign in with another account.

OR, if you haven't logged in yet, from the screen shown below, click Use another account.

2. Enter YourNUID@nebraska.edu and not your campus email address.

3. Enter your TrueYou password.

4. Complete two-factor authentication if prompted.

5. Once logged in, click the Apps tab on the left.

After logging in, I see a message saying "It looks like your system administrator hasn't set up any resources for YourNUID@nebraska.edu. Please choose a different account or try again. If you believe you have received this message in error, please contact your system administrator."

1. Click on the Apps tab and you should see the EMS server(s) you have access to.
