Getting Started

Academic uses take precedence over all other uses of campus spaces lecture rooms, laboratories, sports fields, theatre, etc. which are traditionally used for academic classes. Spaces for academic use are scheduled by the Office of the University Registrar.

Priority in the event of a scheduling conflict is as follows:

  • Academic use
  • Internal use- Administration, faculty and student-sponsored events
  • University-sponsored events
  • External groups

Recurring major campus events including commencement, home sporting events and New Student Enrollment, etc. are planned years in advance and take priority over external events. Event Management Systems is the central source for reserving rooms and resources for campus events. Locations may be reserved for use on a first come first served basis if they are not being used for academic classes.
