Adding Attachments in EMS Using the Windows App

Objective

This article contains the procedure for adding an attachment in EMS when using the Windows App to access the EMS client.

Users

Current users of the Windows apps for accessing the EMS client.

Before You Begin

You should have the Windows app installed and be able to access the EMS client.

Steps

1. Go to where you want to add the attachment.

2. Click This PC to navigate to where the attachment is stored.

3. Click on your computer name (C on {ComputerName}) and Users and then the entry for your ID – either your short name or NUID or whatever you use to log onto your computer.

4. Click through the file navigation to where the attachment is stored. If you have an area where you commonly store documents to be attached, you might consider adding it to your Quick Access area to avoid having to navigate through all of the folder structure to get to it.

5. Click the file and click Open.
