Signing out of Microsoft Applications for Reauthentication

Tags FRCCW

Description

During the Future Ready Workspace project, locally installed Microsoft 365 applications such as Office, Outlook, OneDrive, or Teams may re-request that you provide your password or need you to complete a full sign out / sign into a particular application. This will happen on University managed laptops and desktops that have not migrated as part of the project (for example: lab computers, student workstations, etc.). If re-authentication fails, you will need to follow these steps to sign out of affected Microsoft Desktop Applications.

Users

  • Faculty / Staff / Students using:
  • University managed devices that have not migrated
    • Classrooms / Labs
    • Student Worker Workstations

Before You Begin

When working on an un-migrated University device you may know notice a re-authentication prompt between Dec. 21st and Jan 5th.
