Personal Device Security

Personal Device Security Recommendations for securing your personally owned device on the University's network.

Getting Started

University Students, Faculty, and Staff are encouraged to maintain safe and secure personal devices with up-to-date software and appropriate security protections to safeguard personal data. When using a personally owned computer or device on the University of Nebraska network, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. Information Technology Services (ITS) provides Students, Faculty, and Staff with resources to assist with digital security posture.
