Duo - Enroll Touch-ID

Self Service Duo Touch-ID Enrollment

If you have access to the previous device or number on file, you can setup Touch-ID authentication in Duo yourself through the Self Service portal.

Troubleshooting

Visit TrueYou Self Service by accessing https://trueyou.nebraska.edu and clicking the login button located at the top-right. 

  • You  will need to login using the TrueYou tile and provide your username and password. 
  • When prompted for two-factor, you will be allowed to use phone call or SMS text two-factor methods. 
  • Once authenticated, use the “Manage TrueYou Two-Factor Devices” option.

  • A new page will populate either showing an "Enroll" or "Manage TrueYou Two-Factor Devices" option

  • You will be prompted for two-factor again, but phone call or SMS text messages are allowed. 
  • Once in Duo Device Management Portal, select "Add a device".

  • Select the option "Touch ID".

  • Select "Continue" to proceed.

  • Finally, once prompted provide your input on your Touch-ID to configure Touch-ID Authentication

Authenticating with Touch-ID

  • The next time you log on using Duo, you can select Touch ID from the drop-down list of your authentication devices.

  • Click on Use Touch ID and touch the Touch ID button when prompted.

Note: Duo will default to using the most secure method on your account. You may need to select "More Options" to change to your desired method
