- Something you know – your username and password
- Something you have – your mobile device

How to Register?
Registration Tips
- Register your Android or iPhone using the Duo mobile app found in your device's app store for the most secure experience, which pushes notifications to your device.
- Register the mobile device that you normally have with you at work, when traveling or at home. This will be your primary device that will receive authentication notifications.
- You will need your mobile device and computer to register.
I’ve registered! Now what?
- Try to log into a university system, like Canvas. Type in your username and password and click Log In. If your username and password are valid you will be redirected to duo.com to confirm you are in control of your device.
- If you don’t receive an authentication notification, check the notification settings on your phone, open the Duo Mobile app, or restart the Duo Mobile app on your smartphone.
