Post-Migration - Microsoft Applications Grayed Out

Description of Error

Upon the first login of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) in both the desktop version and web version, some devices are popping open a Privacy notice that causes the window to be grayed out which does not allow you to access the file to make edits.

Resolution - Desktop Version

  • In the grayed out window of the Microsoft Application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), you will push the Escape key on your keyboard.
     

Resolution - Web Version

  • From your Microsoft Application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) home page you will need to create a new document to see the privacy window and accept/close it.

In the Word web Applicatoin home screen, a red box is surrounding the option to create a new blank Word document.  In the Excel web Applicatoin home screen, a red box is surrounding the option to create a new blank Excel workbook.  In the PowerPoint web Applicatoin home screen, a red box is surrounding the option to create a new blank presentation.
